Thanks for replying Igor - I did in fact read that before originally posting and it's all going over my head I'm afraid. The 7z file size is 48.6mb as mentioned in my earlier post so obviously contains information but simply cannot access it via 7z File Manager. I have other 7z files, some larger and some smaller and they are working fine. The file was originally archived several months ago using 7z 9.2 x64 - since upgraded to 15.09 x64. All backups taken of course now relate to the corrupted 08.7z file.
